The Fish House Fleet is composed of vessels manufactured by Delta Marine Industries and Sea Sport Marine. These boat manufactures are well known for producing durable, quality vessels. Every year we upgrade and maintain our vessels to a higher standard than is required by the U.S. Coast Guard.
With 15 years of Commercial Fishing Alaskan waters Mark- owner of The Fish House - knows how to maintain the vessels and understands how the harsh climate in Alaska deteriorates equipment. That is why we thoroughly inspect our vessels every winter. We dry dock each vessel, checking the hull, engine, zincs, water and electrical systems as well as the safety gear.
Unlike other charter companies, we start our season with fresh equipment and all maintenance completed. This allows our vessels to be operational earlier and later in the season than other companies. Our captains pride themselves on being the first to start the season and the last to finish, with an extremely minimum amount of down days due to equipment failure.

Built in 1978 by Delta Marine Industries, the Perseverance is 51' long x 15'7" wide and is a USCG Documented Vessel, (inspected by the USCG yearly for safety and integrity of the hull). Delta Marine Industries has long been the standard to which the larger charter vessels are compared.
When this vessel was built in 1978, fiberglass was cheaper, hence the hull thickness of 1" fiberglass. Newer vessels have a foam core encased in fiberglass and while lighter, does not give as smooth of a ride as the heavier vessels.
Our vessels are extremely well maintained. We dry dock every year to upgrade our systems, repaint the decks and do interior maintenance. We are the only charter company with year-round employees who perform the maintenance. Most companies do a splash and dash and hope to get thru the season. We plan our maintenance schedule to eliminate the hopes of getting thru the season. Our captains are the first on the water (April) and the last off (Late Sept).
